Spirit of the Herbs: Belize

March 19-24, 2020

A continuing education retreat for health professionals

If you are a healthcare provider ready to embrace a deep connection to Belize rainforest medicine, to reconnect with the magic of the earth’s natural remedies and spirit medicine, join Dr. Jennifer Karon, naturopathic physician, shaman, and business coach, for a soul-nourishing deep dive into the plant medicine of Belize. Dr. Rosita Arvigo and Eva Sengfelder, CMT will join us on our journey, to fully immerse you in the medicinal magic of this sacred land.

Why attend this retreat?

Let’s face it, it’s hard to nurture your connection to natural medicine when you are working long hours, fielding phone calls, charting, training employees, dealing with insurance and super bills, and trying to balance your personal life with your profession.

You’re feeling a bit burned out, and yet you know that you have so much to offer those who come to you for help.

By the end of this retreat, you will:

Connect to the sacred medicine of Belize, walk amongst the medicinal plants and learn their power.

Master medicine making, including making tinctures, massage oils, and salves.

Connect to your own ability to work with the herbs to heal body, mind, and spirit.

Tune into your true medicine, and harness your ability to work with your patients/clients in a whole new way.

Stand out from the crowd, as you re-craft your offerings to include sacred earth medicine that isn’t available on every corner.

My heart says yes!

Why Belize?

This magical country houses thousands of years of Mayan medicinal and spiritual traditions, making it the perfect place to leave your everyday professional life behind, as you delve into the medicine of this sacred land. Connect to the plants and spirit of this land, feel the healing vibration of the herbs and medicine held in every step you take on this sacred soil.

We will be staying at Arco-Iris Permaculture Farm, in Valley of Peace, Belize. Owned and run by herbalist and massage therapist Eva Sengfelder, Arco-Iris Farm is the home of Rainforest Remedies Belize, the original Rainforest herbal remedy company founded by Dr. Rosita Arvigo.
